Abstract

The new Civil and Commercial Code has managed to meet the need for updating that the protection of housing has been demanding for a long time. Housing, as a constitutional human right, must not only be respected but also protected against possible transgressions or violations. Therefore, the incorporation of human rights protection into private law is a fundamental step that could no longer be postponed. Consequently, this article will go into those updates that Law No. 26.994 has introduced to our legal system and that until now were only reflected thanks to the jurisprudential and doctrinal work.
