Abstract

This paper focuses on the increasingly widespread possibility of distributed self-generation and net balance.

The focus is to expose which are the elements already present in our legal system that give regulatory support to these possibilities.

In this sense, this paper argues that the introduction of distributed self-generation and net balancing schemes has a clear constitutional and legal basis.

On the other hand, it outlines the basic elements of the additional regulations that should be incorporated in Argentina in order to make such supply schemes fully viable from the legal point of view.
